The Missing as a Whole is a conceptual book design which was inspired by Kutiman’s online musical project (Thru-You) and speaks about music and the struggle to reach fame. This book
offers a visual interpretation to rhythm, sound and silence and emphasizes their vital role in each other’s existence. The reader can dive into the philosophical meaning of sound against
silence, as the book draws another metaphoric equivalence between echo waves and the
sound system, and memory loss.
